Getting to know Lavelle

Lavelle is a specialist aesthetic clinic based in a small village in Hampshire. Staffed by medically trained practitioners, the clinic specialises in non-surgical procedures, medical grade skincare and advanced beauty treatments.

Popular for dermal filler treatments, facial contouring and anti-ageing packages, Lavelle prides their ability to go above and beyond for every client; merging science with beauty in the process.

Lavelle’s Vision

Lavelle wanted to secure their brand as the ‘go-to’ medical aesthetics clinic in Hampshire. To do so, they needed to increase awareness within the local community through the use of digital media. At LS Media and Marketing, we felt that the best way to do this was through targeted and ongoing local SEO campaigns, supported with content creation in multiple forms.

They also wanted to grow their engagement, value and following on both Facebook and Instagram through organic techniques.

Phase 1; Targeted local SEO Campaign

Our team reviewed Lavelle’s website to identify immediate and ongoing amendments which would provide quick-win opportunities for local visibility. It was clear that a focus on local SEO was required to achieve Lavelle’s vision, alongside the creation of new and engaging content.

We researched and identified a list of local SEO keywords that Lavelle’s competitors were frequently using, alongside keyword gaps and keywords and search terms their customers and target audiences were frequently searching.

We took these keywords and created an initial blogging calendar and content plan which included opportunities for optimisation. At the same time, we also began to update Lavelle’s existing content.

Initial Phase 1 Activities Included;

  • Local SEO keyword and competitor research. This research was then used to identify a list of SEO keywords for Lavelle which would support content planning and creation.

  • The creation of an ongoing blogging calendar, which included two monthly blogs to push the identified local SEO keywords.

  • Revision of Lavelle’s existing content, to include any identified local SEO keywords.

Phase 1 activities began in November 2021, and were completed by April 2022. As a result of our efforts, organic traffic from Google in this time increased by 21% and direct traffic increased by 57%. The average session duration also increased by 103% to 4 minutes.

Moreover, Lavelle’s Google search visibility increased to a higher rate than all of the brand’s competitors.

Phase 2; Refined Social Media Campaign

Our team then turned their attention to Lavelle’s Instagram and Facebook accounts. We completed an analysis on competitor social media channels to identify the right posting frequency, and looked into the type of content consumed by Lavelle’s target audience.

As a result of our research, we created an organic social media strategy for Lavelle that focused on the posting of both educational content, industry news and testimonials. All in all, this type of content provides value to Lavelle’s customers, and drives traffic back to the website.

Initial Phase 2 Activities Included;

  • Social media competitor research. As a result of this, we identified that twice weekly posting was suitable for Lavelle.

  • The creation of monthly social media calendars, which included testimonials, educational content, treatment breakdowns, industry news and tips, driven by research and services.

  • The creation of a LinkTree account, to share in Lavelle’s Instagram bio and drive traffic back to the website.

Phase 2 activities began in December 2021, and were completed by April 2022. Most notably, Lavelle’s LinkTree account resulted in a significant increase in website visits, with a total of 841 additional clicks.

Phase 3; Ongoing Social Media Calendar, Content Creation & SEO Maintenance

Since April 2022, we have continued to support Lavelle with monthly social media and blogging calendars. We have also continued to create new content for the clinic’s website and maintain our SEO strategy.

Phase 3 Activities Include;

  • The creation of a monthly social media calendar for Instagram and Facebook. Following Instagram’s preference for video content, this calendar has included the creation of four reels monthly.

  • A monthly blog post, focused on industry news or relevant trending topics, and including identified SEO keywords.

  • The creation of individual treatment pages for Lavelle’s website. Eventually, this will extend to other individual landing pages such as ‘About Us’ and ‘Meet The Team’.

  • The creation of ‘guides’ on Instagram, to share educational content with Lavelle’s target audience and further position the brand as the ‘go to’ clinic in Hampshire.

  • Local SEO maintenance, to ensure that new keywords are woven into Lavelle’s website, rankings remain high and bugs are dealt with swiftly.

Lavelle’s Core Results

With our combined focus on SEO and social media, LS Media and Marketing have delivered excellent organic results for Lavelle in a year.

  • Lavelle’s organic website traffic has risen by 36% as a direct result of our SEO efforts.
  • The average time spent on Lavelle’s website has increased by 65% as visitors browse multiple pieces of content in a single visit.
  • The average pages browsed in a single session has increased by 42%. As a result, Lavelle’s bounce rate has decreased by 18%.
  • Impressions on Google are up by 9000%
  • Direct traffic to Lavelle’s website has increased by 72%.
  • Lavelle’s LinkTree traffic has increased by 1,192%.
  • As a result of organic social efforts only, Lavelle’s Instagram traffic has increased by 86% and their reels reach an average of 980 accounts. Moreover, Lavelle’s Facebook traffic has increased by 215%.

All in all, we’re proud to report Lavelle’s website leads have increased by 87% in a year. Their website now ranks for over 200 organic local search terms.
