Founded by Professor Christian Phillips, Hampshire Gynaecologist offers a holistic approach to gynaecological problems. Serving Basingstoke, Hampshire and Berkshire, Christian and his team of highly skilled experts deliver a private service focused on patient comfort.

As one of the leading consultants in the field of urogynaecology and pelvic floor issues, Christian founded Hampshire Gynaecologist with a considered approach and emphasis on the very best advice and care.

In addition to his expertise here, he is the senior practitioner at Hampshire Hospitals Basingstoke, and consults privately at Candover and Hampshire Clinics.

Hampshire Gynaecologist’s Vision 

With a modern theme in mind, Christian approached us in 2020 to completely redesign Hampshire Gynaecologist’s website. To refresh the existing website, Christian felt that a soft colour palette paired with easy navigation and engaging menus would increase Hampshire Gynaecologist’s online visibility. 

With a small budget and timeframe of two months, we chose an existing theme to ensure completion of the project, and revised theme colours and elements to deliver an original end result. 

Phase 1; Website Redesign 

The initial phase of Hampshire Gynaecologist’s redesign focused on the development of a new website. We worked closely with Christian to identify brand goals and preferred style elements.

During phase 1, we focused on; 

  • Hampshire Gynaecologist’s full website redesign and development, supported by WordPress and an existing Avada theme. 
  • The hosting of the website; to ensure we had full control, we hosted it on our own platform.

Phase 2; SEO 

Once we had completed the initial design, we focused on SEO to deliver organic search results to Hampshire Gynaecologist’s website. 

During this phase, we focused on; 

  • Keyword research, and the revision of existing content to ensure it was optimised for the identified search terms. 
  • The optimisation of the website’s backend to ensure all titles, urls, page descriptions and targeted keywords were set to aid local visibility through search engines.
